Wedding for David and Jordan

On Sept. 26th, David and Jordan were married.  What a fun and beautiful wedding.  I was honored and privileged to be able to photograph and document their day.  

Engagement Shoot at Expo NM

Shot at NM Expo.  What a fun and different engagement session.  We got there around dusk and shot into the evening.  Got some incredible images and just had fun.   The weather was perfect.  Holly and AJ got to feel like celebrities for a while as we kept getting asked if we were working on a movie.  

2008 NM State Fair First Place

Hey Everyone...it's been a little while since I posted anything to the blog.  I just got back from the judging of the NM State Fair Photography contest.  I took First Place with this image in the Wedding Category.

Alaska Wedding

We'll I'm back from Alaska.  My wife and I had a great time.  Leslie and Leif were married on June 14th in Whittier, AK.  What an incredible place to shoot my first destination wedding.  

Maternity Shoot

Had a great time this past Wednesday shooting Brittainy's maternity photos at the Albuquerque Botanical Gardens.  I was really happy with the images.  

Today I have been studying some of my favorite wedding photographers work, getting ready for Leslie and Leif's wedding in Alaska.

Engagement shoot and updates

This is my first blog and my first entry.

I just shot David and Jordan's engagement photo's.  We shot in downtown Albuquerque.  This was our second session.  The photo's came out amazing and I can't wait till they see them.  They are such a great and fun couple to work with.

I'm getting ready to leave for Alaska to shoot my first destination wedding.  I will post images upon my return.

I was able to see Joe Buissink and Yervant in San Francisco this past April for their "Two Views" tour.  What an experience.  I have been mentoring with Joe, and to finally have the chance to meet him was an honor and a privilege.  Bambi Cantrell was also there.  Three of my favorite photographers all in the same place.

A few weeks ago, I was able to move up to the Nikon D3.  What an amazing camera.  I can't believe what this camera can do.  I am able to get shots that were impossible before.
